Gaelic Cup

The Gaelic Cup is back, originally formed in the 80's known as the Gaelic Youth Championships.

Nova Scotia has had a strong presence in the past winning many gold medals with the most notable one being 1988 Olympic Bronze medalist Raymond Downey winning gold medals in 1985 and 1986.

The competition is being held in Cape Breton from April 29th to May 2nd. Countries attending this tournament are England, Ireland, Wales and Canada. Boxers representing Nova Scotia are current Canadian Champions Wyatt Sanford, Bianca Paquin and Taylor Ross. Ryan Sanford and Thomas Foster will be there representing team Nova Scotia as well.
